Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect business details, account information, call metadata, structured call summaries, and caller logs necessary to provide our AI call response services. Call recording is off by default, and Dingdo does not persist raw audio or call transcripts by default.

2. How We Use Data

We use collected data solely to provide, operate, and refine our software services. We do not sell user or caller personal data to third parties.

3. Service Providers

We utilize vetted third-party vendors for infrastructure, including telephony gateways, cloud hosting, AI processing, and payment clearing (Paddle).

4. SMS Request Notifications

Dingdo can send transactional text messages to a business user who chooses to turn on SMS request notifications. The notification number is one you enter yourself in your Dingdo dashboard: it is not the Dingdo number we provision for your AI receptionist, and we never automatically enroll another number you have given us — you must enter the number and agree to the SMS terms shown there. When you enable the setting, we record the consent you gave, including its date and the wording you accepted, so we can operate and document the setting.

The number you provide is used only to deliver transactional notifications about callback and appointment requests, for example to tell you that a caller asked your business to call back or requested an appointment. An appointment request message does not mean that a time is available or an appointment is booked. Message frequency varies with request activity, so we do not promise a fixed number of messages. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or reply HELP for help. SMS notifications are optional: consent is not a condition of purchase, and Dingdo works without them.

We do not sell, rent, or share the mobile number you provide for SMS notifications, or your SMS consent, with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not use that consent for marketing messages. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. Dingdo does not currently send marketing, promotional, bulk, or lead-generation text messages. Like the rest of the Service, delivery requires service providers — for example the telecommunications and messaging infrastructure that carries text messages — to process the number on our behalf so messages can be delivered and so they can meet their own legal obligations.

Turning SMS request notifications off clears the notification number and the consent record we hold for it in your Dingdo settings. That does not delete records that carriers, messaging providers, or Dingdo are required to keep, and it does not remove records already held in backups or routine system logs.
